Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Part Time Cook to work at Crossroads Recovery Center -  a residential treatment facility -  in Gulfport, MS.  The Cook position provides a vital role in providing fresh, nutritious, and appetizing meals to the participants in this program. Previous experience working in a cafeteria setting preferred. 

This is a 24 hour facility so weekends and holidays will be required.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Serve Safe certification a plus
  • Two (2) years of work experience in cafeteria-style food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work independently to prepare food required
  • Customer service skills required

  • Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare meals in accordance with cooking directions. 
  • Abides by health department regulations.
  • Meets scheduled meal times for facility.
  • Serves meals to residents of facility.
