Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Part-Time Cook to work in a residential treatment facility outside of Hattiesburg, MS.  The Cook position provides a vital role in providing fresh, nutritious, and appetizing meals to the participants in this program. Previous experience working in a cafeteria setting preferred. 

This is residential facility and open 365 days per year so shifts may include weekends and holidays. 

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jeff Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pear River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall and Wayne




Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Serve Safe certification a plus
  • Two (2) years of work experience in cafeteria-style food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work independently to prepare food required
  • Customer service skills required

  • Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepared meals in accordance with cooking directions. 
  • Abides by health department regulations.
  • Meets scheduled meal times for facility.
  • Serves meals to residents of facility.
