Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a full-time Cook to work in the on-site cafeteria at a residential facility. This position will work daytime hours. Possible shift hours are 9:00a to 6:00p during week; 7:00a to 4:00p and 9:00a to 6:00p on weekends and holidays. Experience preparing food in a cafeteria setting preferred.  PRN positions are also available.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Serve Safe certification a plus
  • Two (2) years of work experience in cafeteria-style food preparation preferred
  • Ability to work independently to prepare food required
  • Customer service skills required

  • Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepared meals in accordance with cooking directions. 
  • Abides by health department regulations.
  • Meets scheduled meal times for facility.
  • Serves meals to residents of facility.
