. The Clinical Secretary is vital to Pine Belt Mental Health's ability to ensure that our consumers receive an excellent first impression of the clinic and a smooth registration process. The ideal candidate for the
Clinical Secretary
position will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families.
For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.
Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Wayne and Walthall Counties.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software preferred
Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software preferred
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to manage multiple projects at once required
Responsibilities:
Performs all clerical duties, including typing, scheduling appointments, processing accounts receivable, answering telephone, and posting charges and payments to ledger cards.
Welcomes consumers and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
