Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Security Guard to provide services at our Crisis Residential Center in Gulfport. The Security Guard position is responsible for safety operations for this facility, including following policies and procedures that are focused on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The Security Detail position plays a key role in maintaining protection of property, staff, and persons served of this residential treatment facility. 

Full Time Day Shift

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Must have valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record

· Completion of the Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy required

· Two years of experience related to the job duties required

  • CIT Training Preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately monitors activities of individuals in an effort to provide feedback to clinical staff.
  • Investigates reports of disturbance or suspicious circumstances.
  • Only uses Mandt training techniques when situations warrant.
  • Conducts initial safety inspection of individuals and their property upon admission to facility.
  • Contacts local law enforcement if circumstances warrant.
  • Participates and contributes in education/training activities and staff meetings.
