Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a creative and dedicated Public Relations Specialsist. The Public Relations Specialist position is a vital position in Pine Belt Mental Health's ability to provide development and implementation of marketing strategies that will initiate and enhance the company's image.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties. 
 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in public relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field require.
Five years marketing / public relations work experience preferred.
Experience using software, such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience providing public information preferred.
Must possess valid MS driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening.

 

Responsibilities:
Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, plan, and stay on schedule to meet deadlines
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Ability to assit with management of agency's online reputation
Ability to track community outreach activities 
Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds
