Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Data Analyst to join our agency's growing team. The Data Analyst position located in Hattiesburg, MS. The Data Analyst position will provide data to the analyst for the Department of Mental Health regarding agency outcomes.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.
 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a data analyst role required.
  • Knowledge of health care industry preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, and Microsoft 365 Required.
  • Some knowledge of Power Platform preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional organization and presentation skills.
  •  


    Responsibilities:
  • Provides agency data to the state Department of Mental Health.
  • Attends trainings when needed on topics such as WITS claims processing, billing, and DMH's Data Warehouse.
  • Uses various software tools to extract, collect and analyze data necessary for outcome measures or tother State Reporting needs.
  • Maintains the quality of the data by using Excel or other data programs to clean the data eliminating duplicates or errors.
  • Liaise between our staff and the Department of Mental Health to have consistent, error free data.
  • Implements automation to improve agency processes.
  • Provides release planning and deployment.
  • Works with the agency's Database Administrator to develop, manage, and implement dashboards and reports.
