Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Child AOP Day Programming Coordinator for Hancock and Pearl River Counties in MS. The purpose of the AOP Day Programming Coordinator is to provide limited outpatient services; supervise and train staff; conduct staff meetings and oversee attainment of goals for program; general consultation, education and advocacy to other community agencies. The AOP Day Programming Coordinator must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care needed as require by DMH and PBMHR standard.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties. 

Requirements:

Master's Degree in behavioral Healthcare Required, Licensure eligibility required
Professional license preferred
Three (3) years behavioral healcare experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Must possess valid Class D MS Commercial driver's license within 30 days of employment
Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening
 

Responsibilities:

Ability to apply knowledge and communication to age specific care competencies
Ability to provide advocacy, consultation and education services
Ability to develop individual plan of treatment for each consumer
Ability to meet clinical management needs 
Ability to follow company guidelines related to personnel policies and procedures.
