Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a Child AOP Community Support Specialist for Hancock and Pearl River Counties in MS. The purpose of the AOP Community Support Specialist is to provide social services linkage, emergency intervention and crisis intervention services. The AOP CSS will serve as additional Day Treatment oversight and transportation assistance (via agency vehicles).  The AOP CSS must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care needed as require by PBMHR standard. 

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties. 

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in behavioral Healthcare Required
DMH Certification Required within 90 days of hire date
Must possess valid Class D MS Commercial driver's license within 30 days of employment
Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening
 

Responsibilities:
Ability to apply knowledge and communication to age specific carecompetencies
Ability to provide advocacy, consultation and education services
Ability to develop individual service plan with each youth and legal guardian
Ability to document the therapeutic process
Ability to follow company guidelines related to personnel policies and procedures.
