Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a dedicated and caring PACT Coordinator to oversee the clinical treatment team staff who serve individuals with a serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. This position is located in Gulfport, MS and will serve Harrison, Hancock, and Jackson counties.  The PACT Team Coordinator is vital to Pine Belt's ability to oversee program needs. The ideal candidate will have a professional license, supervisory experience, and experience working with crisis services.

PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) is an evidenced based treatment modality providing multidisciplinary therapeutic interventions to adults with significant mental health barriers in a community setting. The PACT Supervisory Team Lead is a Master's level administrative and clinical position, whose goal is to establish and maintain quality treatment. This is a supervisory position overseeing clinical treatment team staff who serve individuals with a serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health field
  • Professional clinical license preferred
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
  • Use of personal transportation to provide services in the community
  • Must have ability to work independently and facilitate diverse teams
  • Must have appropriate knowledge and utilization of crisis stabilization

  • Responsibilities:
  • Leads marketing effort to develop referral base, general public awareness, community support network, and reduction of stigma associated with mental disorders.
  • Administers staff supervision, including recruitment, scheduling, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Ensures appropriate training for all program staff.
