Summary:

Supervisor. This position will supervise the daily operations of a day program for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Marion County, MS. The Intellectual Disabilities Supervisor plays a vital role in Pine Belt’s ability to support individuals living with intellectual disabilities to live their fullest life in their home community. Therefore, Pine Belt is seeking a caring, ambitious, positive and studious supervisor that can demonstrate leadership ability while managing multiple projects and completing assigned tasks on schedule.   A Person centered and goal-orientated individual will feel right at home as a part of Pine Belt’s staff.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health field

    Clinical License or DMH Therapist Certification within 90 days of hire

    Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record

    Experience working with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities populations (not required, but a plus)

  • Responsibilities:
    • Supervise daily functioning of Medicaid Waiver Services program for a specific location.
    • Coordinate and evaluate staff efforts to achieve desired program and consumer outcomes.
    • Implement habilitation planning goals while overseeing participant’s progress towards their strength-based goals.
    • Develop activity schedules for individuals enrolled in Pine Belt’s program.
    • Build and maintain relationships with families and the surrounding community.
    • Promote supports offered in community to increase service use
