Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a motivated and energetic Referral Coordinator to promote services at a residential chemical dependency treatment facility in Moselle, MS (10 minutes north of Hattiesburg). The Referral Coordinator plays a vital role in Pine Belt Mental Health's ability to inform the public, potential referral sources, and existing clientele of our residential chemical dependency treatment services.  The ideal candidate would have experience marketing services to the community and be able to handle multiple projects at one time.

This position would solicit referral sources in the Hattiesburg and surrounding areas.  Overnight travel may be possibility to visit referral sources in other cities.

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required
  • Personal transportation to provide services to the community required
  •  Knowledge of chemical dependency services preferred
  •  Ability to think independently to determine direction of workflow

  • Responsibilities:
  • Solicits potential referral sources by informing public, potential clients, potential referral sources, and existing clientele of PBMHR chemical dependency treatment services.
  • Maintains contact list of potential referral sources, tracks results of contacts, and reports results to Program Manager.
  • Manages Clearview marketing expense accounts responsibly and efficiently.
  • Meets minimum number of sales calls each week with majority of those calls being scheduled in advance.
  • Coordinates and attends expos to promote services.
  • Maintains professionalism at all times.
  •
