Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an immediate opening for a motivated Children's Day Treatment Assistant to provide services for a day treatment classroom in Pike county, but is not limited to Amite, Franklin, and Lawrence counties. Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is looking for a positive and ambitious person who is great with communication skills to fill this position. The Children's Day Treatment Assistant must be able to problem solve, multi-task multiple projects, and think independently. Must be able to obtain Class D Driver's License within 30 days of hire. Experience working with children preferred.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Class D driver's license required within 30 days of hire
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
  • Behavioral health experience preferred
  • Experience working in a classroom setting preferred

  • Responsibilities:
  • Monitors student behaviors and provides redirection when needed, including modeling appropriate behaviors.
  • Assists the Master's degree Therapist in the classroom with instruction, clerical duties, and student activities.
  • Provides transportation for the program using company van.
