Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a dedicated and caring Mobile Crisis Team Coordinator to oversee operations for the Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCERT). The Mobile Crisis Team Coordinator position is based in McComb, MS but will serve consumers in the Pine Belt service area. This position plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability to provide emergency services to individuals in crisis situations.


For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties. 

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health field
  • Professional clinical license preferred
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
  • Use of personal transportation to provide services in the community
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience working in crisis management settings preferred
  • Must have ability to work independently and facilitate diverse teams
  • Must have appropriate knowledge and utilization of crisis stabilization

  • Responsibilities:
  • Leads marketing effort to develop referral base, general public awareness, community support network, and reduction of stigma associated with mental disorders.
  • Administers staff supervision, including recruitment, scheduling, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Ensures appropriate training for all program staff.
  • Provides clinical guidance to teams, audits charts for accuracy, integrity, and soundness.
  • Assists mental health administrators in each county with establishment/maintenance of MAP teams.
