Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking an energetic and motivated Adult Clinician to provide therapy services to adults in Stone County. This position is based in Wiggins, MS but will provide services in the office and community. The Adult Services Clinician position plays a significant role in Pine Belt's ability to provide therapy services to youth in Harrison County. 

Master's degree in behavioral health required. We are seeking an ambitious and positive therapist that can demonstrate ability to build rapport with consumers in an effort to effectively assess, address, and treat serious emotional disturbances.

Schedule would be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. No on-call duties required with this position.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health required 
  • Professional clinical licensure preferred or must be able to obtain DMH therapist certification within 60 days of hire
  • Behavioral health internship required
  • Behavioral health experience preferred

  • Responsibilities:
  • Conducts universal screenings and ongoing therapy as well as making referrals based on screenings within integrated primary care, CPS, juvenile justice, and/or child advocacy settings.
  • Develops treatment plans for each consumer and is able to make referrals to other programs as needed.
  • Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
  • Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and estimates severity of condition.
