Summary:
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is currently seeking to fill their House Manager position at their group home in Columbia, MS. The House Manager plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability to provide mental health services to consumers with serious mental illness diagnoses at the group home. PBMHR is seeking an ambitious, positive, and studious supervisor that can demonstrate leadership ability while managing multiple projects and completing assigned tasks on schedule. Patient and goal-oriented people will feel right at home as part of Pine Belt's staff.
For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in behavioral healthcare required
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
Access to personal transportation to provide services in the community
Experience working with consumers with a serious mental illness diagnosis preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Must be able to obtain DMH CSS certification within 60 days of hire
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train residential staff to be able to provide effective services for the group home.
Conduct staff meetings and oversee attainment of goals for program; general consultation, education and advocacy to other community agencies.
Supervises, directs, and oversees the total care of each resident at the group home.
Demonstrate knowledge of diagnosis, signs and symptoms of relapse, medication information, and knowledge of community resources and payer sources.
May have to provide coverage in the event of staff shortage.
