Participants are ages 12-18. Summary Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Job Coach to work in ID/DD program in Forrest County. This position is part-time and will work the following hours: Mon-8:30-1:00; Tues and Wed- 7:30-12:00; Thurs-8:30-1:00. Previous experience as a job coach preferred.

  • Assesses work environment and learns all aspects of the job the consumer is hired to do.
  • Assists in job exploration, application, trains individuals on job specific duties, transports individuals to and from work, enhances natural supports in work environment to facilitate the individual's independence in the work place.
  • Assists individuals in acquiring and maintaining sustained competitive employment with the highest level of independence.

Position ACCESS SPECIALIST/CSS
Summary Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for an Access Specialist in Hattiesburg. Position is M-F, 8-5. Behavioral healthcare experience with SMI population preferred.

  • Bachelors degree in behavioral healthcare required.
  • Behavioral healthcare experience preferred.
  • MUST POSSESS A VALID MISSISSIPPI DRIVERS LICENSE WITH A SATISFACTORY DRIVING RECORD.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates empathy, instills hope, and provides helpful referrals to consumers that are most appropriate to be referred out.
  • Nurtures working relationships with referral sources by promptly returning calls and communicating openly and respectfully.
  • Performs initial intake paperwork with new consumers.
  • Pre-screens requests for pre-evaluations based on DMH criteria for involuntary commitment.
  • Provides clerical support as needed.
  • Serves as point of contact for referring hospitals within the service area.
  • Verifies consumer insurance benefits at point of intake and collects consumer deposit based on PBMHR fee guidelines.
